JD and Rich used to play in Safe Side Suicide a few years back. JD and Doug used to play in The Red Hot Mamas a few years back. As all bands do, those ended. JD did some work on his own, and all the music sounded pretty good, but he didn't have a band. Rich had been asking JD to get something going with him for some time, and Doug is a pretty solid drummer (who can sing quite well while playing- a definate plus). Each person brings a little something to the band which gives it character. Wouldn't be the same with one less person, and it probably wouldn't be as good with one more either... just kinda works this way. The Scarves on Myspace
